Information
LBC News is a national digital rolling news station based in London, United Kingdom, operating from Global's headquarters and broadcasting across the UK on DAB digital radio. Owned by Global Media & Entertainment, the station delivers a continuous stream of headlines, travel updates, weather, and business reports in English.
No music. Just speech and updates.
Presenters like Pip Tomson and Steve Holden keep bulletins moving with live reporter check-ins instead of talk shows.
RAJAR figures show LBC News reach climbing from 1,084 in March to 1,198 by June 2026. Listeners tune in for straight facts and fast travel updates without opinion-heavy commentary.
It works well for a quick brief, though you have to switch it off after a while because the rotation repeats.
